A few years ago, I got a call from my investment advisor asking for help. He had a manual process of generating mutual fund recommendations for 200 clients, and it was taking too much of his time. He was hoping for a way to automate the process.
I built a simple app that inserted recommendations from The Sherman Sheet into client allocation emails. The advisor
and I shared what we had done with Bill and Laura at The Sherman Sheet. Over time and with feedback from other
investment advisors, the app grew into today’s Advisor AI platform.
I’ve been on a mission to make it easy to run a retirement plan advice business ever since.
Most financial advisors want to serve their clients in the best way possible, but that’s not always easy.
Company retirement accounts make up a considerable portion of many investors’ assets. Managing these types of accounts
is an unrewarding, manual process for many advisors. Consequently, this is a largely untapped growth opportunity.
Offering investment advice to retirement plan participants is one way I see to help the average worker. I’ve set out
to make this important but underserved niche easier for financial advisors to manage. In the process, I hope to
help the average American move up the financial ladder.
